community Gardens

The White Lake United Methodist Church (WLUMC) provides fenced-in garden plots of various sizes for rent to the public during the growing season. Church volunteers rototill and fertilize the plots during the spring prior to planting and the plots are irrigated during the growing season at no extra cost to renters.
 
Each year a large garden is planted and cared for by church volunteers for the purpose of donating fresh produce to local food pantries and The Gathering to use in their free meals.
