Our pastor
Hi! My name is Pastor Tim Dibble, and I am honored to serve as the lead pastor here at White Lake United Methodist Church (WLUMC). Over the years, I’ve been blessed to minister in various Michigan communities, including West Branch, Ypsilanti, and Ortonville, and have also served as Circuit Superintendent in the Wantage & Abingdon Circuit in the United Kingdom. My Master level studies in theology and ethics at Methodist Theological School in Ohio, along with a focus on international relations at Olivet College, have grounded my approach to ministry. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I firmly believe that if we, as Christians, are not finding joy in serving our neighbors, then we are not doing it right!
Originally from Vicksburg, Michigan, I now live in Montague with my wife, Fiona, and three of our children who live at home, while three others live elsewhere. We’re also blessed with a son-in-law and two grandchildren making it a grand total of eight of us in the parsonage (plus two dogs and a cat)! I enjoy being with my family, reading, traveling, and taking in the natural beauty of our West Michigan community.
